BOBST’s commitment to leading packaging innovation in focus at ALL4PACK EMBALLAGE PARIS 2024
Mex, Switzerland, 10th October 2024
BOBST will showcase its leading innovations in flexible packaging, labels, folding carton, corrugated board and services at ALL4PACK EMBALLAGE PARIS 2024. Taking place November 4–7, at the Parc des Expositions at Paris-Nord Villepinte, the show promises to be a hub of innovation and an ideal occasion to engage with customers and prospects representing all four industry segments.
BOBST is dedicated to shaping the future of the packaging world in its four industries with highly automated and digitalized solutions and extended services. The company is driving sustainability with innovative flexible packaging solutions as well as simplifying production and minimizing waste for their labels customers. In folding cartons, BOBST’s technology empowers converters with zero-fault packaging, and in corrugated board, their cutting-edge solutions boost end-to-end efficiency.
Visitors at booth D141 in Hall 5 will experience firsthand how BOBST is driving developments in packaging innovation through its industry vision based on the pillars of connectivity, digitalization, automation, and sustainability.
A core solution is BOBST Connect, the constantly evolving, cloud-based digital platform designed to increase productivity, drive efficiency and improve sustainability at every stage in the workflow. The latest feature Job and Recipe Management offers significant cost and waste savings by streamlining machine integration and enabling faster setup. On the sustainability front, the new Energy Monitoring feature measures energy consumption and provides analysis of costs so customers can evaluate where to drive efficiency improvements, optimize energy costs and reduce CO₂ emissions.
Visitors can also learn more about the multitude of newly introduced BOBST solutions, such as the EXPERTLAM 900, a multi-technology coater and laminator for flexible packaging production; the next-generation EXPERTCUT 106 PER die-cutter, which features ACCUPLATEN, a breakthrough system that reduces patching effort during setup by up to 80%; and the comprehensive range of robotic solutions, enabling fully integrated corrugated production lines, while reducing workload by up to 50% and minimizing the risk of repetitive strain injuries (RSI). In the narrow-mid web segment, new BOBST oneBARRIER FibreCycle technology for UV inline flexo presses will help converters elevate sustainability with the same high-barrier and recyclable application opportunities previously seen on wide web machines.
In terms of advancements in services, the team will be highlighting BOBST Application Management, a new comprehensive consulting service encompassing workflow automation, color and process optimization, end-to-end converting improvements as well as regulatory compliance. This goes hand in hand with the Operational Excellence program, which supports customers with combined data analysis, process expertise and proven consultancy for optimized efficiency. Finally, Remote Assistance service, which includes video with augmented reality support using TeamViewer, now also includes live captioning and chat translation, enabling fast, high-priority remote resolution of electrical and mechanical problems to reduce downtime.
“We are excited to be at ALL4PACK EMBALLAGE PARIS 2024,” said Christian and Patrick Salhofer, Co-Managing Directors at Bobst-Jetpack. “This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with European industry professionals and showcase the widest variety of sustainable solutions for converters in labels, flexible packaging, folding carton and corrugated board. We are ready for the future of packaging and look forward to welcoming all visitors.”
