BOBST showcases oneLABEL portfolio at first US virtual label event

Mex, Switzerland, 21st September 2021

Companies from across Canada, North, Central and South America experienced the first virtual label event hosted by BOBST from the recently renovated Alpharetta Competence Center in Atlanta. During the online session, the US team demonstrated how BOBST is shaping the future of label production and helping converters to optimize their entire production floor through more automation, digitalization, connectivity and sustainability.

The event demonstrated the power of the BOBST oneLABEL portfolio, which encompasses Flexo, UV Inkjet and All-Inline technologies developed for maximum productivity and highest quality.

In focus was the MASTER DM5, an All-in-One press that is setting a new standard for the digitalization of the label industry and offers production of highly embellished labels in one pass, with one operator. Also on show was the Mouvent LB702-UV, the high productivity, high quality digital label press, complemented by the DCL2 finishing line from industry partner Grafotronic. Attendees were also sent printed samples from the DM5 to see the quality and consistency firsthand.

Both the MASTER DM5 and the LB702-UV feature Mouvent™ Technology, a unique inkjet printing technology 100% developed by BOBST, which runs at speeds up to 100 m/min and prints in a resolution of 1200 dpi to deliver consistent operation and reliability, while allowing easy maintenance with minimal manual intervention.

BOBST is aiming to lead the next chapter of digitalization of label production by offering a complete portfolio of fully digitalized printing solutions with Inline flexo printing, UV inkjet and the combination of both.
